The free work
This is where the work happens that no client asked for. Art is my counterweight to production: no briefing, no approval loop, only the question of how far an image can go. Some pieces begin as a costume staging with a full team on set, others as a single stroke on the graphics tablet, late at night.
What connects all the series is curiosity. I try out what technology makes possible today, without ever losing sight of the fact that in the end an image has to work without explanation.
The five areas
- Contemporary Stagings
- Modern one-shot photography meets costume staging, live performance and digital post-production. Elaborately built scenes, captured in a single exposure.
- Digital Paintings
- Craft meets technology. Pressure-sensitive pens on a graphics tablet produce work with the full range of brush shapes that classical painting knows.
- Fusion Art
- The union of artificial and human intelligence into an art form of its own. These works celebrate the interplay of human and machine.
- NFTs
- Non-fungible tokens are unique digital works. Their ownership is recorded on a blockchain, which makes them unmistakable.
- Bespoke Art
- Art on commission. Personality and wishes go into the work, as does the room in which it will later hang.
