Fragments of Coexistence

The works exist within a tension between oxide orange, petrol blue, turquoise, off-white, and black. Warm meets cold; calm meets resistance. Nothing merges completely; nothing dominates permanently. Basic geometric shapes structure the pictorial spaces. Circles, semicircles, axes, and intersections impose order, almost mathematically. Yet this order remains fragile. Overlaying it are organic interventions: drops, scratches, smudges, cracks. Traces of interventions that refuse to play by the rules. Material contradicts system.

Figures, birds, heads, and silhouettes appear in fragments. Never complete, never unambiguous. Identity appears as a work in progress, not as a fixed state. A recurring motif is the act of seeing itself: eyes, elevated vantage points, horizons. Observing and being observed. Presence without explanation.
In terms of content, humans, animals, and abstract forms coexist on equal footing. There is no hierarchy, no clear division of roles. The images do not depict harmony, but coexistence in the truest sense: a coexistence marked by friction. The creative process is part of the statement. AI provides structure, rhythm, and formal suggestions. Deliberate digital craftsmanship intervenes, disrupts, corrects, and exaggerates. Decisions emerge in resistance to perfection. Thus, at first glance, the works appear calm, almost balanced. Yet beneath the surface, tension remains palpable. A state between control and letting go, between order and erosion.

“Fragments of Coexistence” does not offer solutions.
The series captures states of being. Transitions. Fragments.
Coexistence, not as an ideal, but as a reality.
